John Graham, introduced to the world on The Bachelorette, is currently looking for love on Bachelor in Paradise.

So far he’s made connections with Caroline Lunny and Jubilee Sharpe. The app developer is now caught in the middle of a potentially-ugly love triangle, but Bachelor in Paradise fans are hopeful he’ll come out of it with his heart unscathed.

Bachelor Nation spoiler blogger Reality Steve has reported that Venmo John, as he’s affectionately been called by fans, does find love on the reality show. His partner in Paradise won’t be who viewers are expecting, though.

John Graham, also known as Venmo John, is a 29-year-old San Francisco, California native. He works as a software engineer.

His portfolio includes credits for developing Venmo. According to a Medium post written by John, he was the fifth employee to start working at Venmo back in 2011. He worked there for about three years.

After leaving the company, he transitioned to Fin., which is essentially an artificially intelligent butler.

Venmo John also has a cooking show called Kitchen Talk. On it, he and a friend serve up different recipes and ideas for food-focused gatherings.

John appears to be close with his mother, whom he happens to share an August 1 birthday with according to Instagram. He also has a sister called Laura whom he is close with.

His profile on the photo-sharing site suggests that he’s also actively involved in volunteering with the elderly, teaching older men and women how to use and keep up with technology. He regularly posts photos with his partner from the program.

John is an outdoorsman and seems to enjoy the beach and other adventurous settings. He leads a very active lifestyle, frequently working out.

An exact figure for John Graham’s net worth hasn’t been pinned down, but he’s surely one of the more successful people to pass through the Bachelor franchise. Braintree bought Venmo in 2012 for $26.2 million (£20.5m) and PayPal bought Braintree the following year for $800 million (£627.9m). John may have received millions in the sale of Venmo because he was an original employee.

John now works for another successful tech company called Fin., which is a digital assistant service that uses artificial intelligence to meet user’s needs.

He’s one of few people who will leave the show with a partner. John and Olivia won’t get engaged at the end of the season, however.

There will be a proposal this season — two, in fact. Viewers will get to see the moment Jared Haibon proposed to Ashley Iaconetti while visiting the set of Bachelor in Paradise. They’ll also see Jordan Kimball propose to Jenna Cooper.

Speaking on his happy ending in Paradise, Jordan told Refinery29: ‘I do find someone for me in Paradise.
