Raising money for sick pets is a 'walk in the park' for dog lovers this Sunday, so dig out your walking boots, bring your four legged friend and join us!
The sponsored PDSA "Walkies" is this Sunday 9th October in Plymouth's Central Park (next to the children's play park), with registration on the day from 10.30am and the walk from 11am.
Leading the the one mile route, will be Heart's News Editor Michaela and her doggy menagerie Ozzie, Jacob, Odin & Sydney plus the PDSA's own dog mascot Buddy and PDSA Senior Veterinary Surgeon Robert Newcombe. The Heart Angels will be there too snapping away with their cameras and cheering you all on along the way!
Whether you're a dog owner or not bring the family and enjoy a Sunday stroll, relax in the Heart Alfresco zone, get the kids face painted and help raise much needed funds for sick and injured pets.
You can complete as many laps as you wish of the one mile long route and every dog taking part will receive a limited edition PDSA 'Long live Pets' dog tag. PDSA veterinary staff will also be offering reduced-cost microchipping for all pets on the day.
You can get your "Walkies" tee-shirt for just £5 too and every penny raised from the event will go towards the Plymouth Pet Hospital Appeal, to help keep all those tails wagging!
