Jon Secada's Maid Sues -- I Got Rug Burned |

Grammy award winning singer Jon Secada has a problem on his hands -- a maid who claims her life has been ruined after slipping on one of his pesky rugs. The maid has sued the singer, claiming he didn't put a slip pad underneath the rug in his Miami mansion and she took a bad tumble, landing her in the hospital and causing her pain, disfigurement and mental anguish.
A source close to Jon tells us the maid did suffer a minor foot injury after slipping, but says the Secada's already paid her medical bills ... and gave her a week off with pay to recover.

We tried reaching the rug rat (just a joke) ... but so far no comment.
