Amazon is taking back to school shopping to a whole new level with a virtual experience to promote the Sept. 29 debut of “The Boys” college spinoff “Gen V.”

On Tuesday, the e-commerce giant launched GodolkinUniversity.com, a “Gen V”-themed website that includes an online campus tour for the show’s fictional superhero college, Godolkin University, that gives users the chance to purchase 150 items from Amazon.com through the company’s first-ever “title-themed virtual store.”

The “Gen V” tie-in website allows you to explore the campus, including the campus store, and gives you multiple opportunities to purchase Godolkin University merchandise through the Amazon website, as well as standard dorm room supplies already available on Amazon.

Per Amazon, “The experience leverages 3D and 360 assets, which were scanned during production, and coupled them with 3D product images to create a one-of-a-kind fully navigable virtual retail experience. ‘Gen V’ will be a part of the convenience and entertainment, along with fast, free shipping on every order, that Prime members enjoy in a single membership.”

While the online shopping portion is limited to U.S. users, all fans can explore the virtual campus, which Amazon says is packed with hints and details about “Gen V.” You can declare your superhero major, sample the curriculum, discover information about the superhero statues in the quad, watch the Godolkin University “orientation” video, go inside the on-campus Vought-a-Burger and campus store and head into the residence hall’s three explorable dormitory rooms, the hallway and bathroom.

Amazon will be adding to this experience throughout the first season of “Gen V,” allowing fans to entire inside the classroom building on Sept. 19 and Dean Indira Shetty’s (Shelley Conn) office on Oct. 3.

“Gen V” is set in the world of “The Boys” and focuses on Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes. When a group of students discover something sinister going on at God U, they have to decide if they will be true heroes or villains.

The series stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas and Marco Pigossi.

Guest stars include Clancy Brown and Jason Ritter, as well as “The Boys” stars Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and P.J. Byrne, who are reprising their roles from the main series.

“Gen V” is executive produced by showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters alongside “The Boys” team Eric Kripke (who is showrunner on the main series), Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

Based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s “The Boys” graphic novels, “Gen V” is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures and Original Film.
